Third Time’s a Charm

It was one of those evenings. I was big and uncomfortable, as one usually is at nine-and-a-half-months pregnant.
“Let’s look at a movie,” I suggested.
“Okay,” my two girls agreed then sprinted to the couch.
“Mom I have a question for you?” my 10-year-old pronounced as I channel surfed. “For years you kept saying you did not want anymore kids. And I got it. You had sex with dad those two times and had me and Sage. But if you didn’t want any more kids, why did you have sex with Dad again?”
My 7-year-old perked up and joined in, “Yeah, Mom. Why did you have sex with Dad three times?”
I had to stop myself from laughing. Their innocence still catches me off-guard sometimes.
“Well, I thought for a long time that I didn’t want any more kids,” I responded, “but then I decided, why not? Try it one more time and see if it was meant to be. And guess what? You will have another sister soon enough.”
Two weeks ago Siena Raye was born.
Third time’s a charm!
Little people can ask some funny, but innocent questions. I am amazed at some of the questions my grandchildren ask me!
I guess they don’t need to know about all the “practicing” that goes on in between kids lol
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 That’s cute AND funny….I will call it “Cunny”
Practice makes perfect for you guys 😉 3 Beauties❗️
